This annual SBCM Report provides a summary of our coverage firms’ products and online services. Additionally, the report mentions forums or sitelets tailored to business owners, offering educational material or a discussion platform that can help them with various scenarios when it comes to running a business. The report provides a table listing all the business cards for each firm, including annual fees and rewards information. For account services, this report mentions services tailored to business card holders that allow them to monitor their account spending via expense reports and manage their employee accounts. The report also mentions if the firm offers standardized account services, such as a transaction history and statement archive.
When it comes to resourceful sitelets and forums, we found that two SBCM firms continue to offer comprehensive online community forums that allow members to interact with one another, and offer resourceful materials that can assist them with running a business. Additionally, two other SBCM firms offer the general public resourceful sitelets that discuss a variety of topics that can be useful specifically to business owners.
The report also focuses on the public site to examine business card products. We found that two SBCM firms offer the most product offerings with 14 and 13 business cards, respectively. Al lSBCM firms offer a rewards program for at least one of their business card products, while only four SBCM firms offer a business charge card. When it comes to annual fees, we found one business card to carry the steepest annual fee of $450, though the attached rewards and benefits are top-notch. Prospects can apply for business cards online for seven of our SBCM firms, as one firm continues to require interested clients to visit a branch to apply.
As for online account services, there are currently five SBCM firms that offer clients interactive expense reports, allowing them to select criteria they wish to see on the report, while two other SBCM firms offer expense reports generated by the firm. Six SBCM firms offer clients the option to add employee cards, while four of these six SBCM firms allow clients to manage certain aspects of the employee accounts. In regards to standard account services, the report notes all SBCM firms offer clients an option to set up account alerts, sign up for paperless statements and pay their card online.
